Victorian antique 18ct (18k in American English) gold snake ring featuring a dazzling old cushion cut diamond (approx. 0.13ct). This ring was made by our insanely talented bench jeweller from an antique pin and an antique gold band.
Sadly stick pins have fallen out of fashion, so many of them are stunning and feature specialty craftsmanship and artistry from a bygone era. Converting them into rings or pendants is a great way to extend their lives and give them a new opportunities to be loved.
Ouroboros rings symbolise eternity and eternal love, the nature of universe and the cycle of life, death and rebirth. The snake is also a symbol of luck, good fortune, wealth and protection. Prince Albert famously gave Queen Victoria an Ouroboros ring as an engagement ring.
